ASCENSION PARISH REAL ESTATE PROFESSIONAL ATTENDS 2009 INTERNATIONAL BUILDERS SHOW

Gonzales, LA—Feb 2009

Sandy Scallan of Villar & Co Real Estate in Prairieville, LA attended the 2009 International Builders Show in Las Vegas.  While at the convention, Ms Scallan attended numerous professional development classes, and she also toured the 2009 New American Home where the newest GREEN technologies and trends in home building were showcased.

Scallan, a former educator at LSU, has received the prestigious Certified Green Professional Designation (CGP) from NAHB.  Sandy Scallan joins the movement of professionals pushing the real estate market and home building market toward energy-efficient, sustainable, and healthier design/features in homes and buildings. 

Scallan is distinguished from her peers by holding two other GREEN designations, the Eco-Broker and National Association of REALTORS GREEN designation.  These, and many other professional designations, allow Scallan to share information that home buyers and sellers need to save money, live comfortably and improve the future of our environment.
